About Us

It all started in 1982 in Long Beach, Ca at Garfield Elementary in the lunch line. I, Mandril Walker, was following the rules and waiting my turn when he, David Hillman III decided that it was appropriate to cut in front of me. I immediately felt disrespected and slighted and began giving him a piece of my mind, of course an argument ensued. All of this commotion caught the attention of staff and we were both hauled off to the Principal's office...lunchless. The Principal was unmoved by us recounting the events of the incident both trying to throw each other under the bus and decided to make us both serve a one day in school suspension. I was told this would become part of my "Permanent Record" and the tears started flowing from my eyes as I was sure I would never be employed and my father and mother would take turns dispersing an historic "whoopin" as soon as I got home. For me life was over ,but for David, my reaction was hilarious. Little did we know this would be the start of a lifelong friendship and partnership.
